To fulfill my client’s particular requests to be represented in their character, I spent a good few hours on Pinterest creating a mood board that consisted of dark academia outfits related to Doctor Who. It was one of my hardest commissions. I had to do further extensive research on how to perfectly craft my client’s desires for their cat-snake hybrid fursona.

 

After discussing with my client and analyzing their reference sheet I came to know this character in particular, Dr. Rose is an embodiment of high intelligence and charisma. I carefully handpicked and confirmed outfits, aesthetics, and a color scheme with my client to curate the perfect final piece. For the color scheme I chose a dark and romantic blue for the background and added a bit of orange for lighting. This was to compliment the character’s overall design and add personality. Once the character had been fully constructed I gave them a specific outfit that would bring about a welcoming and warm nature to fit it all together.
