Inspired by Florida life and having visited the beach since I was young, I wanted to capture the importance of creating memories without regrets. Living life without remorse to me means making meaningful connections with good people that stay throughout your lifetime and encourage you to be a better person than you were the day before. 

 

To create this piece I used a picture I took of a beach around the St. Augustine area and painted over it digitally. Then, to capture unconditional joy and happiness in one’s life, I used Pinterest to find the perfect pose. Once I had found the right pose I wanted I utilized EasyPose to create 3D modeled poses for me to trace (at this time I was learning how to draw poses using 3D blank models; most of my works are hand drawn digitally without the use of 3D models). The individual character I made also holds significance. The Shark symbolizing Florida, the Unicorn symbolizing the magic behind true and good connections with the right people, and the Cat for ambition and curiosity.
